We call it onion mesh because of the distinctive orange and red look with yellow stripes, but don’t let the name fool you. This stuff is seriously practical. It’s made from HDPE with UV resistance built right in, so even if your job stretches into a few weeks of bright sunlight, the mesh won’t turn brittle or fall apart. The weight runs from 40 to 120 grams per square meter, which keeps it light enough to handle easily but strong enough for most temporary barriers.
