The Handy Corflute Sheet That Protects Floors and Prints Signs

If you’ve ever done a renovation or worked on a construction site, you know the mess. Paint drips, boots track dirt, tools get dropped. That’s where a good old corflute sheet saves the day. We call it corflute, but you might know it as corrugated plastic or PP sheet. Whatever the name, it’s that lightweight but surprisingly tough board that looks like cardboard made out of plastic.

Corflute Protection Sheet 3

The twin wall design gives it strength without making it heavy. You can throw down a sheet to protect a finished floor while workers come and go, and it won’t soak up spills because it’s water resistant. When the job’s done, just pick it up and hose it off or recycle it. It’s that simple. And because it’s easy to cut, bend, and shape, you can fit it around doorways and corners without special tools.

People also use corflute for all kinds of other things. Sign makers love it as a substrate for yard signs and real estate boards because it’s stiff, prints well, and stands up to weather. In packaging, it replaces cardboard for dividers between glass jars or bottles. Even greenhouses use it for temporary walls or plant trays. Thickness runs from 2mm up to 10mm or so, and standard sheet sizes include 1.2 by 1.8 meters or 1.2 by 2.4 meters, with metric and imperial options. Colors are black, white, blue, or custom. Need flame retardant or anti static sheets? We’ve got those too. Custom logo printing is also available across the sheet.

Next time you’re protecting a floor, printing a batch of signs, or just need a sturdy but light board, give corflute a try. It works hard, cleans up easy, and doesn’t cost a fortune.
