Why Our PVC Mesh Banner Works So Well Outdoors

You know how frustrating it is when a banner rips in the first strong wind or fades after a few weeks of sun. That is exactly why we started using PVC mesh banners instead of the solid vinyl kind. They look like regular banners from a distance, but up close you can see the tiny holes that make all the difference.

The material is a blend of polyester fibres with a vinyl coating. That combination gives you the best of both worlds. The polyester provides strength and tear resistance, while the vinyl coating makes it waterproof and protects against UV rays. Because of the mesh construction, wind passes right through instead of pushing against a solid surface. That means no more ripped grommets or shredded edges after a storm. And the see through effect? It is actually useful for scaffolding wraps where you still want light and air to reach the workers behind the banner.

We offer three weave options, 6x6, 9x9, and 12x12. The 6x6 has the most open holes, so it lets the most wind through. The 12x12 is tighter and closer to a solid banner, but still breathes. Weights range from 180 to 260 grams per square meter, so you can choose how heavy duty you need it to be. Standard rolls are 1.6 or 1.8 meters wide by 50 or 100 meters long. White is the standard colour because it prints best, but custom colours are available too. Digital and UV printing both work great on it. And if your job requires fire retardant material, just ask.

People use this stuff everywhere. Outdoor advertising billboards, event banners, sports stadium signs, trade show displays, even outdoor furniture and awnings. Honestly once you switch to mesh, you will not go back to solid banners for outdoor jobs. They just last longer, look better, and save you the headache of replacing them every time the weather turns.
