Shade That Works as Hard as You Do

Spend a summer afternoon on a scaffold with no cover and you will understand why shade cloth matters. Mantis Material makes one that does more than just block the sun. It is built for construction sites where heat, glare, and long hours take a toll on both people and materials.

Shade Cloth - 800x800

The first thing you notice is the temperature drop. A proper layer of shade cloth keeps the work area noticeably cooler, which sounds like a small thing until you are the one up there in July. It also cuts down UV exposure, protecting workers and whatever materials happen to be sitting on site from fading or degrading.

The material itself holds up. It is made from polyethylene with UV stabilizers that keep it from breaking down after a season or two outdoors. The manufacturer rates it for ten years of outdoor use, which is a long time for something that lives outside every day.

Sizing is flexible. Rolls come in 1.83m and 3.66m widths for Australian and European buyers, and 6ft or 12ft widths for North America. Block out rates range from 30% up to 90%, so you can pick how much light gets through depending on the job. Scaffold mesh options are available at the lighter end. A full spread of colors is on offer, from standard white and black to green, red, brown, yellow, blue, and pink. Logo printing is available too if you want your company name on the side of the site.

Where does it get used? Scaffold covers, material storage, worksite canopies, temporary shelters, fencing, even gyms. It is one of those products that quietly does its job without asking for attention. For anyone running a site in serious heat, that is exactly what you want.
