Every clean space has an enemy that never stops trying. Dust, grit and microscopic debris ride in on shoe soles and trolley wheels, settling quietly on surfaces that were spotless an hour earlier. The sticky mat tackles that problem at the doorway, before the contamination gets any further. It is a layered sheet placed on the floor at the entrance to a sensitive area, and each layer carries a pressure sensitive adhesive that grabs particles as people walk across it.

What makes the mat work is not just the adhesive but the way it is built. Multiple layers are stacked together, each one numbered along the edge so a maintenance worker can see at a glance when a sheet is due for removal. Once the top layer is soiled, it peels away to expose a fresh sticky surface underneath. The film is engineered to resist tearing during that peel, even in a busy doorway where the mat takes a beating all day. The adhesive itself is water based, non toxic and odorless, and it leaves nothing behind on the floor when the mat is finally lifted for replacement.

The standard sizes are practical ones. A sheet measuring 0.913m by 1.13m covers a doorway nicely, while smaller options of 0.9m by 0.9m and 0.6m by 0.9m suit tighter spots. White, grey and blue are the usual colors, and custom sizes can be ordered for larger installations.

Where the mat earns its keep is in places where a single speck of dust carries a real cost. Cleanrooms in semiconductor and pharmaceutical production place it at airlock entrances. Hospitals use it outside operating rooms and laboratories, and electronics manufacturers rely on it to keep fine particles away from precision components.
